WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

15507958ME BEFORE YOU by Jojo Moyes

I just started reading this book yesterday, and so far I am enjoying it. I’m a slow reader, so it would take me days before I finish this book.

I know a lot of you already know the premise of this book and I know a lot of you have seen the movie, as well.

I have seen the movie a couple of times already. But I am excited to compare the movie with the book. I know for a fact that books are better than movie that the movie. So yeah, I’m looking forward to finishing this book.

I am not quite sure what this book is really about but so far, O am enjoying it. So here’s a blurb:

Greg Gaines is the last master of high school espionage, able to disappear at will into any social environment. He has only one friend, Earl, and together they spend their time making movies, their own incomprehensible versions of Coppola and Herzog cult classics.

Until Greg’s mother forces him to rekindle his childhood friendship with Rachel.

Rachel has been diagnosed with leukemia—-cue extreme adolescent awkwardness—-but a parental mandate has been issued and must be obeyed. When Rachel stops treatment, Greg and Earl decide the thing to do is to make a film for her, which turns into the Worst Film Ever Made and becomes a turning point in each of their lives.

And all at once Greg must abandon invisibility and stand in the spotlight.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

30187390.jpgUNDER GROUND WILLIAM: A SHORT STORY by Alice Rachel

I just finished this today! As much as I didn’t like William upon reading Under Ground, I kinda liked the story. But I still don’t like William. HA!

Review coming soon…

Blurb from goodreads:

This short story is also part of “Under Ground: Special Edition.” It is part of a series and is not a standalone.

William’s short story starts when he meets Thia for the first time, at age fourteen.

This includes an additional Scene about Dimitri Fox as a prelude to “Standing Ground.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

2258650.jpgKRISTEN by Lisi Harrison

I want to read this book next because I really want to go back into The Clique world. I miss reading about the Pretty Committee. I miss their expressions. So I am excited to read this, even though this book would focus more on Kristen’s summer away the other girls.

Blurb from goodreads:

Kristen sets sail on the Love Boat… With the rest of the Pretty Committee scattered across the globe, Kristen is stuck in summer school at OCD, making good on her scholarship commitments. No sleepover horse camp, no Hawaiian spa, no Spanish vacation, not even a trip to Orlando. But when Kristen scores a job looking after hang-ten hottie Dune Baxter’s eight-year-old sister, Ripple, Westchester suddenly doesn’t seem so bad. It looks like Kristin is about to ride the wave of first love. . .
